This team works with cutting edge AR/VR technology to create magical experiences for our customers with their most personal and cherished content. As a member of our organization you will assist us in crafting future products that will delight, inspire and empower millions of people.## DescriptionYou will work on Personas, a dynamic, natural representation of your face and hand movements that allows others to see you while you’re using Apple Vision Pro for FaceTime or other video conferencing apps on the Apple Vision Pro.You will work closely with Apple's framework teams and Human Interface designers - pushing you to think outside-the-box, and solve incredibly challenging and interesting problems in AR/VR.You will work with technologies such as RealityKit, SwiftUI and ARKit. You will have access to a wide variety of internal frameworks and services that will allow you to build technology that is deeply integrated into our operating systems.## Minimum QualificationsBS / MS / PhD in Computer Science OR equivalent degree OR equivalent experience3-5+ years experience in software developmentStrong fundamentals in graphics, including 3D math, geometric processing, and linear algebraStrong programming skills in C/C++, Swift, or similar languagesAbility to collaborate and work in a highly cross-functional environment## Preferred QualificationsExperience with digital human articulation and renderingInterest in neural rendering techniques, including Gaussian SplatsExperience with discrete geometric processingAbility to work closely with designers and translate artistic intent to robust codeExperience writing shaders and doing look developmentStrong artistic eye with a foundation in design, composition, color, and lighting## Pay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
