Job Description
Requisition ID: JOBREQ-2616072 — Department: Product Management — Type: Full-time. Location: Bellevue, WA, USA.
The opportunity
As a Senior Technical Product Manager at Unity, you'll join the Platforms product team, where you'll own XR graphics. You'll set the product strategy and roadmap, combining deep graphics expertise and a solid grounding in XR with a direct understanding of what customers need. You'll stay hands-on with the product, using and demoing it yourself so your decisions reflect how it really performs. As you shape the roadmap, you'll keep the product vision aligned with business priorities, user needs, and technical feasibility.
What you'll be doing
- Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, drawing on your own technical expertise alongside customer and platform partner feedback, production verification, market research, and competitive analysis.
- Work with internal teams, end users, and partners to discover user needs, define feature requirements, and validate technology in development.
- Extract, analyze, and visualize quantitative and qualitative data to drive and validate development and user-experience decisions.
- Partner with stakeholders across Engineering, Quality, Design, Documentation, and Program Management to align on goals and prioritize features.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing on positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans, and run customer feedback loops.
What we're looking for
- A highly technical understanding of real-time game and application development, from hands-on experience with Unity, Unreal, or a proprietary game engine.
- Experience with XR development and graphics performance optimization.
- Strong skills in roadmap planning, feature prioritization, and stakeholder management.
- Comfort acting as the primary product advocate at industry developer events (e.g., Unite), customer visits, and with platform partners.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools.
You might also have
- Storytelling and visual presentation skills.
- Knowledge of computer graphics and low-level graphics APIs (e.g., Vulkan).
Gross pay salary: $153,400—$230,200 USD (plus possible equity and incentive plans). Relocation and visa sponsorship not available.
