Your mission will be to lead and mange the team that works on the next generation media technologies, media processing pipeline and frameworks that powers exciting media experiences on Apple Vision Pro and future products.We need your passion, knowledge, and creativity to solve complex technical challenges. You will have a unique and direct opportunity to create products that will inspire millions of Apple’s customers as a core member of our fast-paced group.## Minimum QualificationsBS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering OR equivalent degree OR equivalent experience5+ years of experience leading a team10+ years of experience with software developmentExperience with image and video processing, media processing pipelinesExcellent programming skills and proficient with one of the programming languages: C/C++, Objective-C, or SwiftStrong problem solving and analytical thinking skillsA strong focus on end user experienceCreative and collaborative approach to problem solving, and a drive to build products that surprise and delight## Preferred QualificationsSuccess shipping media products involving image and video processing, video capture/playback, or media processing pipeline is a plusFamiliarity with AR/VR technologiesExperience with iOS / macOS developmentExperience with developing media SDKs, frameworks and customer facing APIsExperience with media formats (HEVC, H264, JPEG, etc)Experience with camera algorithms## Pay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $228,100 and $393,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
